Health Care Policy is thrilled to announce that faculty member Alex Luedtke has received the Mortimer Spiegelman Award, a prestigious honor recognizing outstanding early-career investigators in health data science and biostatistics. Presented annually by the American Public Health Association's Applied Public Health Statistics Section, the award acknowledges exceptional contributions to statistical methodology and its application to public health.

This latest recognition follows Alex's receipt of the COPSS Emerging Leader Award just months earlier—a remarkable achievement for any early-career researcher.

"Together, these awards reflect the breadth and impact of Alex's contributions to our field and the national recognition they have earned," said Department Chair Nicole Maestas. "We are proud to celebrate this latest recognition of his work."

Please join us in congratulating Alex on this well-deserved distinction!
