Kwangho Kim, PhD
Kwangho Kim, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral research associate in the Marshall J. Seidman Fellowship Program, currently collaborating with Dr. Jose Zubizarreta on methodological research on causal inference. His main research focuses lie on the intersection between causal inference and machine learning, particularly extending causal inference methods to novel, non-standard effects with possibly complex data structures, borrowing techniques in statistical machine learning. Through his work at HCP, he hopes to find opportunities to participate in innovative research for better, higher-value health care, by leveraging his quantitative skills. Kwangho is originally from South Korea, and obtained his B.S. in Mathematics and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from KAIST, M.S. in Statistics from Stanford University, M.S. in Machine Learning and joint Ph.D. in Statistics and Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University.
