José Zubizarreta Honored with ASA 2025 Health Policy Statistics Section Mid-Career Excellence Award

At the American Statistical Association's International Conference on Health Policy Statistics in January, Professor José Zubizarreta was honored with the association’s Health Policy Statistics Section Mid-Career Excellence Award. The award recognizes individuals who have made “outstanding contributions” to statistical methods or innovative applications in health care policy and health services research, and whose work shows promise of “continued excellence.”

Dr. Zubizarreta's research focuses on advancing statistical methods for causal inference and impact evaluation, aiming to drive progress in health care and public policy research. His methodological interests span the rigorous design and analysis of both randomized experiments and observational studies.
